Hey all you Army Vets! Let's see your DUI's (Unit Crests)!

These are the two I wore while in service. Every U.S. Army battalion has its own distinct kind. There are probably thousands of different types within the Army. Lets see yours!

This was the Unit Crest I wore with the 538th Engineer Battalion at Fort Knox from 1964 -65 and then in Thailand from 1965-66.

Dear nsdq;
The 160th Spec. Ops. Avn. Reg. formerly known as Task Force 158, the Army's uber-secret, super clandestine aviation support unit. Shhhhhhhhhhh...
Are you kidding? Telling folks that you are/were a member of the 160th is no big deal, so stop trying to act all hush-hush about it. Sheesh!

My profile pic shows mine. Battle axe with "That They May Fight" wording underneath. They gave us another crest before we deployed as part of the 2nd Brigade 34th Infantry Division attached to the 113th Cav unit to Afghanistan in support of O.E.F. however we never wore berets there.

Re: Hey all you Army Vets! Let's see your DUI's (Unit Crests)!

I'd have to go in the shop and look in the box that has all my Unit Crests, patches and medals in it. 5th Engineer Battalion, 4th Engineer Battalion, 23rd Engineer Battalion, 3rd Engineer Battalion, (then 23rd EN BN again), 16th Engineer Battalion. Can y'all tell I 'uz a Combat Engineer? 12 Bravo... in "the line" for 20 years. Not photo enabled, so y'all can Goggle the Battalions to see the Crests.

Hey you guys used to fly us in and around places!!!!

I had a good friend who was an MH6 Little Bird Pilot, he retired and I hadn't seen him in years until I went to a motorcycle rally and we crossed paths and he took his crest off his vest and gave me his Night Stalker crest and I took my SF crest off my vest and gave it to him.

Of course after many years, (7), I lost contact with him and about a year ago, I was out riding my motorcycle on a long ride noticed something missing off my vest and lost his crest somewhere along the highway, the pins where still there in my vest so it had broken off! I been trying to find another Night Stalker crest and locate him for quite a while now with NO LUCK!

I will have to upload photos of all mine!
