    Thanks for posting this list Terry. I was aware of most of them but only found out over a long period of time through trial and error. Now, I ask most businesses if they give a Veteran's discount. Saved a bunch of money doing that too because many businesses don't even advertise the discount anymore. Too many vets out here now, I guess!!

    In building up my homestead, gutting and remodeling my second house, I shop exclusively for hardware at Lowes = 10% discount has save me hundreds of dollars.

    May seem puny here and there, but when you're into the serious mix, it really adds up.

    Does any metal detector sales companies offer veteran discounts? Iím 100% service connected and those discounts really add up over a years time when youre on a fixed income.

    Minelab gives 15% discount on new detectors to vets with proof of military service. Good on 1 detector a year.
