Well Roger, one of these days we got to get together. We decline in population as time passes. But brothers remain brothers until we no longer exist.

Anyone know Donny Kidd "Grandpa"? His bird got shot down with a captured .50.

He was my father's best man.

Well i am not a veteran myself but i give thanks to all those that are. I am here now though teaching and treasure hunting. If any of you guys have any memories or theories of locations to detect i would love to hear them. Maybe you have plans on coming back or maybe you dont bit either way i would love to hear an idea or two or maybe just learn something of what it was really like back then from your point of view. I am a travelor who is currently teaching in hai phong near hanoi. I am guessing not many people stationed so far north but you never know. Maybe i am just bugging you guys and not really a veteran myself so who cares right? I dont know where else to glean whatever info i can about this country. The least i can offer is to take a picture of how things look nowadays. I actually find more bullets and shells than caps and tabs here most spots i go to. I have one for sure ww2 shell, one fairly whole grenade i pulled out of a trench still dug into the ground and today i got a mini canonball from a park. Working on getting some photos of the bunkers i detect at. Would anybody like to see them?
