I was the dropper on a 81mm mortar crew and that sucker was loud. I would not want to be the dropper on that one!!!

Here's a picture I took following a mortar attack in Nha Trang, 1969 on the tin roof over a soldier's bed. I know he was medivacted out, but don't know if he lived or died.
