Hey Guys , many of you old timer T-Netters know me as I'm one of them ;D...but I haven't been on much lately in months. I usually go digging for Civil War relics but over the weekend I had the opportunity to detect at Nags Head on the North Carolina barrier islands where I went to the beach and was able to come up with this really nice Citizen Elegance ladies watch valued at $200. Those aren't diamonds but they ARE SWAROVSKI crystals! Thought this would be a stark difference from the bullets and buttons etc. that I usually post......it was still keeping time to boot and only a couple very very lite surface scratches from the sand that I can buff out on the face......... so probably just lost in the last couple of days. Hope ya'll like 8) :icon_pirat: 8) :icon_pirat:

I was down that way around 2 weeks ago (from the 16th to 23rd) in Corolla. I got out 3 whole times during the week... and only once after the swells came through from Hurricane Bill. I was staying up in the 4x4 section of beach, where the crowds are sparser.

The bad news... the crowds were sparse... and the people are a lot more spread out. Good news... when all the rentals in the area are going for between 7,500 and 17,000 per week... you tend to find some more expensive targets. (2 of the 5 were after the hurricane's waves, on saturday)

had a great time, and i can't wait to get back down there
