I found what appears to be an old silver ring at the beach today. It actually says silver on the inside of the band. Anyone else ever find a ring marked silver? This one looks pretty old.

It's hard to see in the pic so I filled it in.

Never seen silver marked like that before, but im really new to this stuff. No matter what it is its a cool looking ring, it looks really old to me.

We use the same 2 detecters.

Cool ring find. Maybe there was a weak .925 or .910 stamp that wore off. The word "silver" looks as though it is almost worn off.

i had a ring that had the same style just mine had a turquoise stone, my dad had got it for me when we stopped at an indian reservation. I know the ring was silver, but don't remember how it was stamped.
