Was that wet sand? water? Detector?

Get your photos at about 800 pixel wide and they fit better. I use a photo program to reduce it. You still need to watch your focus too.

I resized your photo and sharpened it a little. Your camera fucused on the bottom of the ring leaving the stone and setting a little blury.

Thanks guys. Cocoa Beach, wet sand, low tide, Excalibur. The tone was odd, I had just found 2 lead sinkers and a pair of needle nose pliers so I almost didn't dig it up!

awesome find....I guess this taught you the ever important lesson....dig every beep on the Excal.......I have had gold sound off like silver......Even the Excal gets it wrong every once in a while
