Far, Far Away
The beach has been quite dismal in it's condition for hunting. Too much sand and still no signifigant cuts to expose the deeper goodies. Last night I spent a few hours at 3 different beaches with not even a handful of clad to claim. My last beach was a beach called "Three Tables" because of the rock formations out in the water. Anyway, slightly disappointed I was making my final run towards the car in the dry sand and got a large signal, I figured on it being an aluminum can or something of that size. The result was this 26.4 gram 14k chain. I did'nt even think it was a precious metal and in the dark, I could'nt really tell. Being tired, I was too lazy to check. When I got home and checked it out, I was happy to say the least. ;D

WOW, I'm glad I didn't find that. At my age it would be too much for the old heart to handle.

In order to not get too excited, I find only trash.

That's a nice looking 14k chain.
Do you find more of them or is
it a once in a while thing?

Only my second one in three years. Someone must have just dropped this one in the dry sand because this beach gets worked on a regular basis. That's why the post is titled "Got real lucky". ;D
