I had a similar hunt-off with my friend Saturday and Friday. I had the excal 1k. He a Whites PI. I think we hunted 3 hunts. One a 4 hour, 3 and 2.5 hour respectively. I think we came out close to even on coins. He did score a silver ring and a earring with the PI. I was able to eek out a junk hoop earring, fishing weights and two U.S. Navy Dog tags together. I think it is safe to say my arm hurts from swinging that thing. Word on the street is he may have some back pain from digging a lot of holes Lol. Later.

Digging a lot of holes is the main reason many don't like a Pulse. But where the sand is deep or saltwater with black sand it might be the only one you can use. So long as your getting out and not doing house work.

All well and good but did the Excal get passed over the same targets from the same direction?
Was the Excal in AM or in DISC. ? Did the Excal user really know how to use it?
Come on, give us all the fact's as they really were!
p.s. still some good loot no matter what detector found them but we want/need the facts!

Get a harness and your arm want hurt....Straight shaft and harness is the only way to hunt.......
