Wow, somehow I missed this post! Congrats on the gold saphire ring. :icon_thumright: You see a fair share of gold rings posted on this forum, but not many with gem stones. Good job!!

You mean you found that dainty ring with that terrible PI machine? LOL Just ribbing those folks who say the Infinium is hard to work with and picks up lots of junk. I just watched a Youtube video of a fellow using one on a Civil War Relic hunt. He was mopping up. Check out Garrett Infinium on Youtube.

Yep, those PI machines are terrible! Now you will have to dig deep holes in bad mineralized ground! :laughing7:

It was down about 10" to 12" Not all PI detectors are the same . The Infinium LS has Disc.on it which make it a vary nice detector. :icon_thumleft:

Ron, nice ring, can't wait for the hardwater around here to go soft, LOL. Last year we got our Infiniums and cleaned up. 53 rings, 3 nice necklaces in two months of going to the lakes. These Pulse machines are just killers on finding deep targets. Met a guy with a Excaliber at one lake and he said he could not get any signals on necklaces, I kind of wonder if he was messing with me as he said he didn't like Infiniums, but after he left I searched an area he had been over and pulled two nice rings that were only about 8 inches deep. I thought Mine Labs were the Primo units, but I think its the Garrett Boys who have given us an edge on the rest! :icon_pirat:
