I've posted twice about this location, basicly a cruddy beach area, not for swimming.

Over the past few weeks I've been back several times and found I'm not the only one seaching the area, I've met at least three other MDers there, a few times. I still keep finding stuff but now I search the low tide area under and around the rocks, may have been a small jetty at one time. And I've been using my little sniper coil so I can fit in and around those rocks.
Since my last post on this area I've added $4.74 face value. That includes a 1916 Barber dime (to go along with the 1916 Merc I found the first time) and my first Barber quarter 1903, 2 silver Washingtons, 5 Buffalo, 1 V and 1 Shield nickels, 7 Mercs and 3 silver Roosevelts, 44 wheaties and 3 IH pennies. Many unreadable dates, especially the pennies and nickels. In addition, lots of old copper boat rivets and fishing weights.

And a 10 kt gold engraved inital ring, looks to be kids size.
Two religious medals, one looks to be silver but no markings.
The spoons and fork are not a set, but two are marked Rogers Nickel Silver and one is hard to make out but might be Farrel Co.

I know the ACE 250 is not supposed to be so great for wet salt water beach areas, but mine rocks.

Good thinking to get in there with the small coil. Keep hitting it you're making some great finds :headbang: Congrats on the old coins and your first gold of '10
