That's great Jaws2! What is your ratio of silver to gold rings?

I would say the average is 25% gold, 40% silver, 10% misc. and 25% junk, in Jan. 6 gold and in Feb.
7 gold and 1 Plat.

You never know one day about year ago I hit a pocket that gave up 7 rings 6 were gold and one Tungsten Carbide. they were all 15" to 20" in an area no larger that 1000 sq ft.

Were these all shallow water or were some on the beach in the wet sand?

I never get in the water all dry or wet sand.

Thats really good. I just got back from a week of detecting on 6 beaches in Florida and did not find a single wedding ring. Got a share of bullets, coins old and new and one earring.

Now I am determined to get a gold ring!
