went to the beach to see how bad it was sanded in. i got a loud signal up near the cut in the photo. i dug down through 10 to 12 inches of sand then about 8 to 10 inches of a shell layer to find a huge piece of iron. not sure what it was because i couldnt get it out. needed a big shovel. :dontknow: also found a pipe with a spring attached to it. :icon_scratch: it also was very deep and large. then i found a penny up by the cut. many deep signals of rusted iron pieces. nothing good. oh well. the last picture is what i found later at the park.

i dont think the necklace is silver. i dont see any markings on it. and it is very light.
