In a couple of hours? Well done Jaws! :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7: Was it an area you've been over before? Perhaps the beach conditions were just right to reach the older stuff... OD

Wow, now that is a dream day!!!

You should have that emerald cut diamond ring appraised. That looks like a pretty big diamond!

I dream of having a beach near by like you have.

Yes you can tell by the condition of the silver rings, the sand has been eroded to a level that has exposed some very old targets.

That's when it all comes together (tides, wind, currents, all in the right place) - Nice!

Congrats Pat!

Two beauties with those Gold rings and great potential Silver rings after cleaning them. I personally get a huge kick pulling out those purple looking Silver rings.

I'm curious how you go about cleaning them. I use the vinegar bath with a bit of aluminum foil and a bit of salt. When the ring turns black I gently wash most of the black away and then polish it up with baking soda. On very eroded rings I get a rough granular surface but otherwise they look pretty good.

I gave up cleaning silver that has turned black, haven't had much luck doing that.
