Update: The class ring was returned to the owners father about 1:30 p.m. on June 13, 2010. He said his daughter was ecstatic to be getting her ring back



I had a good hunt today.

It was humid, but there was an onshore wind, along with good amount of clouds. It kept things comfortable.

Got the usual clad and trash in the wet sand.

I was working my way North, getting a penny here, a penny there. I started getting a little discouraged, but just then, WHAM!

Out pops a nice little class ring.

I'll be calling the school tomorrow to try get in contact with the ring owner.
