Which are great beaches in L.A. San Diego

Hi Nick ... I'm partial to Seal Beach myself. I think generally some of the smaller beaches are better....and if you are cagey you can get free parking too.

The trick is to get a heavy beach traffic day and work the blanket line after about 6pm when people are leaving. If the timing is right you can possibly find some "pockets" in the wet sand and pull out some old jewelery ..possibly Gold. I found a few of those "pockets" during the slower winter season and pulled out a dozen rings with a couple of them being gold.

I've visited San Diego beaches but found them a bit puzzling and never found anything really good.
