Hi all, I will be vacationing in the outer banks at the end of the month. Is there any members who regularly hunt in the outer banks? Since the only beachgoers are the one's renting the houses, at least in the northern parts of the island, are the finds any good? Since there isn't a boardwalk or anything like it what did/do you find? Any help/advice would be appreciated!

Corolla has been known to give up spanish silver. The rest of the OBX will give you the requisite bottle caps and some clad. Check the tide charts for your area and be sure to hit low tide. Look for "cuts" and check them out. Also make mental notes of where the high tide/towel line is.

FYI, DO NOT detect below South Nags Head starting at Coquina Beach. That is where the Hatteras National Sea Shore starts.

Check this link out, plenty to be found there for sure.

Best of luck and keep us posted.
