It was a long weekend hunting, all i got was some silver rings (one Tiffany)and a nice folding knife. Went out side the box to some different spots today and bingo! The gold band sounded like a quarter,585 , no low at all, so i was pleasantly surprised to see it in my scoop. The small one is 18k and diamonds tested good and the silver gold buffed out really nice, a good looking ring.

I agree. If you must find a silver ring, finding a Tiffany is a real PLUS. (Gold ain't bad either.)

Congrats on the gold today Retreiver. Real nice hunt for sure!

Is there a way to downsize your photos so that we can see it in one piece.

It kinda takes a bit of the excitement out of looking at the photos when it's as large as it is.

Have a good week!

the lear will have to detour now.....looks like 84mins. to touchdown there at

interceptor speed.

nice spin for sure...............

many big 14k rings have much copper added...........thus. the loud penny tone....if using minelab something

my opinion only on copper

Yes grave digger many of my largest rings have had no low at all, because of the copper or nickle and i find that most often when there is a low gold signal its a small ring. There is a differace in the over all sound if the ring is laying flat, a spongy sound. I would say 60% i can tell are a gold ring before i dig it.
