I realized last month that I had almost 30 lbs of U.S. clad coins. If I continue at this rate when I finally leave here I could very possibly have over 150 lbs of coins. The packers are not supposed to pack money in our shipments so I would have to hand carry the bank. So this month I spent a lot more time in the water. Still managed to pull 51 Qs; 34 Ds; 77 Ns; & 65 Ps, plus some foreign. Total clad $20.65.
The additional problem is that I don't think the local banks would cash in U.S. clad. Most of it's filthy/crusty and I'd get a tumbler to clean the stuff but electricity is crazy expensive.
It's definately low tourist season here, can't wait for the snow birds to head south.
Bling consisted of an 18k, 10k ring, 4 silvers, 1 tungsten and 4 junk rings. The sweet little pink one was number 50th of the year. Needless to say I was a little disappointed in #50. But if you guys have a contest for the ugliest ring I might place. 1 silver earring and a silver (.925 Italy) bracelet. I also scored a number of keys and other junk not pull tabs or bottle tops but accidentally deleted the pic. You guys get the idea. Thanks for looking and good luck hunting.
