Or, the newbie and his PI Pro. Took my new toy to the beach for a couple of days. Bought it from some guy on this forum who's on crack. Thanks CB!!! This is the result of about eight hours of detecting. I was really surprised how few targets there were. I did (although I'm ashamed to say) give up on about six targets, just could not see what they were. The thirteen inch scoop bought from RTG works really well. I was told horror stories about the amount of digging to be encountered using a PI machine, I guess the beaches where really clean. They do run a bunch of sweepers pulled behind tractors every morning at sunup to get up all the trash at the high tide line.
The gold longer gold chain is marked 585 on the clasp, is 28" 14gms. The shorter one is 14k, 24" and weighs a little over 7 gms. These are my first two gold pieces that I've found since starting MDing in Apr. and I'm just tickled to death. Happy dance :occasion14:
Guess I've just payed for one of my detectors oooooooorrrrrrrr, just may have to buy another one. Thanks for looking Gene

If you were able to dig those kinds of targets with that little trash, you did very well. Bravo! :icon_thumleft:

Now that's the way to pay for your detectors. Don't worry about the beach cleaning machines, they only get the first few inches and most coins, rings and chains fall out.
