Still some strong wind hanging around today so the bay was chopped up pretty good.
Managed only clad and graymatter, but had a kewl spin and even saw one other fellow with a metal detector…..omg……………..no many hunters on the bay area - this section.
Saw some beach fishermen and saw some nice fish.
.

For those of you who do not know the blowfish, here u go
.
.
Okay, they are not pretty, eat anything they can get their mouths on, average only a pound or less, don’t put up a good fight, or any fight for that matter, but they make up for all of that by providing some of the tastiest morsels that come out of the sea. Also known as blowfish, blow toad or swellfish and technically the northern puffer or scientifically Spheroides maculates
.
.The spin today
Good luck for surfchurch

Theres easy to clean. Once you clean one, its easy. Skin them like frog legs or a catfish. You can buy catfish skinners at walmart for about 4bucks. But reg. pliers will work....

Make one slice, through the skin, but not the meat. From one side of the head to the other.
Then with your skinners, grab the skin on the top of the body, and pull towards the tail, while holding the head.
Cut or break the spine, just behind the head. and pull the body, the inside should stay put the body should pull out of the skin
pinch of the fins and tail with you skinners and your ready to eat

Very delicious, eat them just like a chicken leg. I leave the spine in, theres no ribs or Y-bones to deal with at all. You can fry, sautee, bake etc etc...
Heres a youtube video link, theres several more on there, this ones a 'lil sloppy in the cleaning style...
