A question to all Florida beach and surf hunters out there:

Due to Florida's low ground mineralization on most beaches, has any one noticed a significant difference between the depth offered by PI detectors and multifrequency detectors like the Excalibur (and I'm referring to the stock coil, not the WOT coil) or CZ-21?

I had a sandshark and now have an excal. The sandshark had an eight inch coil and the excal has a 10. The excal goes deeper.

i have a excal and a dual feild, and had a infinium,my experience is that the pulse does go alot deeper.i have a bhid300 the worst machine ever made, the depth is terrible the lights suck. very cheaply made, the dual feild was way better and cheaper.many will say there is no difference.the infinium seemed to go the deepest the dual feild would be in close second
