excal replacement phones

I saw a post on here where someone had replaced the stock phones on the excal, anyone recommend any phones for it?

What you want are Grey Ghost Underwater headphones.

I simply did the Peltor conversion, makes a night-and-day difference..... And only cost $12.00 to boot!

Check out this full post, TexasRt, and SS done a great job...basically you just gut the excal HP's and put the guts in the Peltor 101, or the 105's Great for Ambient Noise, Wave, people, seagulls noise etc... so you can hear the faint targets.

What is the peltor conversion?

Same thing i wanted to know but no one will answer what the peltor conversion is

Buy the peltor ear muffs, they are empty shells. Take all the guts from the excal, or what every machine you are upgrading, excal is very easy. just transfer them to the peltors. One of the best investments you can make if you hunt the ocean or any place that is Noisey......And they stay on your head like SS said, not like the stock excal phones...a upgrade for about 30 dollars or less
