I always carry my detector with me by hand when going on cruises in a padded detector travel bag which is a pain to carry because of bumping into things and weight. I thought of using a golf travel bag with wheels to replace the old method. I purchased a golf travel canvass bag from Target for $35.00 and put my detector in it along with travel scoop, water shoes and pouch. What a difference, I can roll it most of the time and if I need to carry by hand it is no heavier than the old sling bag.

I was thinkin about that, but my Dually has a straight shaft and would be too long. My neighbor has a nice padded hard case for his XLT I put my DFX in when I travel and put it in a crappy lookin suitcase to kinda give me some cover...
