1906 "V" nickel find

Found one of my favorite coins in beach wet sand a few weeks ago. It's one of the better conditioned ones I've found, even though the salty sand still took its toll on this precious coin. :(

The only thing I used to try to clean it was some olive oil soaking; I don't think I can do much more with it.

Here's some pics of it's recovery using the GT.

Very Nice coin, amazing hunter............28+ months till retirement..road trip to see Craig & PI joe that fall, sure would like to stop by and share your hunting style with the rest of the world.......keep up the pace, got to be cold up there............Joe

Very nice nickel.... :thumbsup: :thumbsup: The salt really did a number on it too. I've only found a couple myself and they are all a treasure because of the rarity.
