Yes. All the rings I post are stamped and always have a nice "ting" sound when I drop then on tile.....but my last few post some rings have been viewed as being not real. So I have no idea anymore.

Here are the pics of the stamps. I might be wrong, but I thought gold does tarnish some when they have been in the salt water for some length of time. I didn't think they would come out looking like they were just bought. They could be brass I guess??? They sure do sound good when I drop them though. Meaning if I drop a 10k ring on tile it has a ting sound to it, but if I drop a 18k ring it has a nicer ting sound. But gold always seems to have a nice sound to it, not to mention the excal sounds like a low gold tone also. I sent items that were tarnished looking to ARA and I got paid for them, So I'll keep sending them the fake stuff if they are going to pay me gold price for them. I have a lot of other "fake" gold with stamps, but I'm pretty confident that my gold posts are gold.

relax , those are real!!!! in case you dont know by now, some people dont really know what there talking about but the make statements/posts/replys as if they do!!!!!!! sometimes its an honest mistake. people just need to be careful that they aren't misleading someone.
by the way, those are some great finds.

I would say congrats on the great finds Chris!

Where in the Caymans are you? Grand?

I spent a week there last fall and lost most of my hunting time due to a stupid tropical storm. Never seen 10 foot surf on 7MB before! I hunted when and where I could, but never found any gold.

Don't worry about all the haters on here. It's not a competition - at least it isn't to me. It's nice to see others finding stuff, (especially gold), it helps keep the passion going in this hobby.

Great finds!
