Rain stopped; sun came out; headed for an old beach .

There was a promising cut so I hunted close to that area.

I have hunted this beach many times ....lots of "oldies" here.

Found the .925 stamped ring in dry sand about 10 " deep. It was heavily tarnished and difficult to clean, but I tried my best.

Here's pics of the 3 hr. hunt. at high tide.

Thanks for looking

Lorraine

And of course you polished it like chrome! Nice! What was that rounded triangle thing? I see you have a question mark below it, so maybe you dont know. Everything but the pennies are really corroded.

That triangle item is a mystery to me. I could not see any image on it, but its symmetry and heart shape led me to consider it to be some kind of medallion, but I think not. I put it through electrolysis with no remarkable results.

Here's a close-up pic showing the edge.
