No kidding... I want to see some good pics too. I'm stuck in the Middle East right now and won't be back to Okinawa for at least another 2 weeks or so. I'm sooooo ready to get back to my beach hunting.

You weren't kidding when you said there were a Ton of people out there. Not that many here, enough but no where near that many. Sure increases your odds.

I spent a week in Pensacola Beach for spring break. This was my first time ever to the ocean and I must say, this could be habit forming!

The most rewarding part, was seeing the sun rise over the ocean.

Instead of strapping a find bag to my waist, I bought a "Humvee" safari vest with a ton of inner and outer pockets and a big one in the lower outside back to haul out all of the trash in.

I found more twist caps, burried cans, and pull-tabs than I care to mention. You all know how it is. Only hunting for about 4 mornings, the things of note include four high dollar sets of mardi-gras beads ;-) , a monster truck, and about 8.35 in change.

One good find was a pristine 1958 Wheatie. Key date, last year issued. It was laying in about 3 inches of sand near some pavillions.

No rings, but MAN the views were amazing...
