I have been land and beach detecting for about 15 years now. I'm ready to "plunge" into the water detecting at a lake beach. I am a certified SCUBA diver.
The area of the lake I want to search is about 10-15 feet deep. It is a swimming beach roped off from the rest of the fishing lake. The area I want to search is appx the size of a football field (if that large). The bottom is mud!
I have access to either dive or dredge.
Any suggestions?????
Thanks,
David

grid off a small area try diving it. if no luck and you have permission then dredge. Is in north, south or west of MB ? Number of gators ? Got a thick wet suit, we will be back in the ocean by March.

Thanks for the info and great to talk to ya again Charles. If you get a chance email me at [email protected].
The lake is man-made. I won't be able to touch it till at least late next spring 'cause it's in Indiana. I'm not much for cold water!
Ideas?
Thanks,
David
