Bogus "Tiffany & Co" earrings... and a silver ring this morning

There oughta be a law ! The "Tiffany" sounded and looked bad from the beginning.

I grid when I hunt ,and one of my first targets was a medium "buzz " sound...out came one earring..was quite sure it was not silver; checked the immediate area...nothing; continued on the grid for about 15 ft, turned around and started back and heard the same sound...dug up the matching earring.

Checked them at home for any kind of stamping and saw "Tiffany & Co. E Peretti 925 Spain" on the loop...but these earrings looked anything but quality ; did a silver acid test...negative just as I suspected. Too bad because the same style "Tiffany" earrings sold on e-bay for $80.00

After 3 hrs. of pleasant detecting on a beautiful morning, I headed back to the car and just at the edge of the sand/road, I recovered a small silver ring that "saved the day".

the little silver ring you found is not. It has quite
