Check that hoop in your first picture. I found one almost Identical and couldn't find a mark so thought it was junk. Checked it a few days later again and it was stamped very small on the thin wire part 417 for 10K gold! Mine weighs 2.3grams.

No, its not gold. Just a bad cell phone picture. Hoop earring is painted white with rust on it.
I did find some gold though yesterday.

Well I made it 3 hunts in a row! Headed to Jax beach this afternoon to get another hunt in before the sand replenishment starts. It was already sanded in. Found another pair of earrings but these were only about 10 feet apart and shallow. Probably dropped this weekend. I have found hundreds of earrings but never a matching set until these last three hunts.

Me and Tony in FL each found a single earing that ended up being a matched pair a day apart. We were searching the same area, but it is unknown exactly how close they were to each other. They were both found in the water though.
