4 hour hunt today from low tide back up. The beach is rather sanded in and most of the tourists have gone home for the start of school. Targets were spread out over a large area. A good number of the pull tabs were 12" deep, so I guess the gold is even deeper. A few recent drops close to the surface but most was 8" - 12" deep. $3.49 (more than I expected) in clad and a pewter "Mayflower" replica. Fun hunt with lots of exercise and a pleasant day on the beach but nothing to write home about. Unfortunatley, the ship did not contain any yellow metal..

Good bit of finds there Ralph, especially if they were that deep. Keep at it the gold is probably there somewhere. HH Gene

For being sanded in, you did well on the clad count. The
Mayflower replica is a sweet find.....one ya don't find very
often for sure. Congratulations on the pull-tabs too...at
least you won't have to dig them again. LOL Gold Next time!
