Where are they all coming from ?
Got a late start this morning met & spoke briefly with a detectorist hunting the low tide coming into shore, then got on my way hunting the wet slope area.
Found this bottle laying in the mud near the shoreline.
This one is a quart bottle; the previous one was just a 1/2 pt.
This one had less barnacles on it , and is embossed : FRANK MOSCA
NEW HAVEN
CONN
REGISTERED
It has a side seam...barely visible, and nos. 4 4 4 on bottom.
Have been researching trying to find info on the Bottling Company ...can't find any info thus far.
Also found a 1953 "wheatie"; other than that, it was a clad kinda morning out there in the beautiful sunshine .
So if you are into blob top bottles...check out these pics..
Thanks for looking
