Last night's hunt

Nate, Kendall and myself went out last in the poring rain at around low tide to hunt the public beach. We had some fun, Kendall found his first monster PT ring. It was a huge one. I found a smaller man sized 18K with 900PT and 0.137 Diamond. I also found a crap load of women's huge earrings. Money wise I got 2,656 Yen, 1 Nickle and 1 Quarter. Not a bad night overall.

It is defiantly nice to pull up gold but I like the fact that you can pull a greater than $5, $1, dollar coin out anytime also.....

Killer ring Soup! Haven't seen gold and plat together in a long time! We're lucky to find a one dollar coin here..... finding one is harder than getting gold! :tongue3:

Re: Last night's hunt

The 500 yen coins at todays exchange rate work out to be worth $6.67 in USD. That ain't a bad haul... especially when you nail 5-6 of em.

The most common coin to find is the 100 yen ($1.33). Things here cost at least 100 yen, so there's no sense in carrying less than a pocketful of 100's and a few 500's. The swimming areas are littered with them.

Good job on that ring Rob. Sorry about my video. It didn't turn out well at all. How much did that ring weigh?
