Old knife and last week's double blip 18ct.

Two finds from the past week...
I like the old blade ... I don't know why.....and would like to know what type of knife it is (thin and quite flexy)? I found it at my "old river" site.
The 18ct was found last week and as I posted on the Tesoro forum it gave my PI a double beep trash response almost identical to a bobbypin or piece of wire.
Been some great finds on here of late ... congrats to all.

I will never understand why people don't just dig those double beeps.

If you aren't willing to dig everything, why use a PI detector?

Nice find Smoogle! :icon_thumleft:

Great find! Can you show us the front of the ring? The ct may be an older designation for gold.

75% gold, 23% copper, and 2% cadmium yields light green 18ct gold. The alloy of 75% gold, 15% silver, 6% copper, and 4% cadmium yields a dark green alloy. Cadmium is, however, toxic.
