No gold today...

Unlike Les and Ron my day didnt go as well. I had talked to Les yesterday about a beach North of me that i hadnt been to so i though ... road trip. Got up early... but got moving kind of slow. I guess i wasnt the early bird. I saw 3 other people swinging, but no one was in the water. One guy with a DFX was digging a lot of targets and i spot to him as he was finishing up later but no gold either. However he had a nail pouch full of something. It was kind of quiet in the water, but i hit 5 rings only one was silver. The small one on top.... the others looked good.... but were copper. Oh well it was a pretty nice beach thou.

Low tide wasnt much of a factor since most were in about waist deep water. Out deep i was hitting quite a few bottle caps.... second guessing it maybe i missed out on a good find or two since there didnt seem to be much in between. Live and learn. Three of those rings were very close together..... so do like metals/weight tend to gather?? Or possibly just a low spot they moved to. I got less than a buck in change.... made more money in bottle caps lol.

SnT for the encouragement.... and the info on PP hunting. Its a process and you can do 98 percent of everything correct..... but you still have to walk over the target.
