an 8 gram 14k white gold men's wedding band found today on a South Jersey beach with a 15 minute old Minelab Sovereign GT.....

your not kidding Aaron !!!! to beat all, I was testing out my wife's new GT with her 8" Tornado coil when I found the ring. Even with that little coil, it would sound off on my shovel at 18 to 20 inches away. It is one hot 8" coil. It throws out a "hallo" of power.

Don't sell that 8in coil short. The GT with any coil is a powerful machine. The 8in allows for a better smoother threshold and hence tiny/ deeper targets.Many times I have to use a smaller coil here on our NJ beaches! steve

Hi Tiggar when I bought my seahunter I hit the water and went straight to a 14k band, after that I had to work for them. Sounds like a hot machine HH
