Took a cruise on the BIG ONE last week. The Oasis of the Sea! It's HUGE. Took this under a bouncing float for kids. Lots of tropicals. Next two are of fanning deadreef finds. A Gold 14K in each. Local beach in Jamaica. Total finds before cleaning. A Christ ring and a band. Last, ALL CLEANED UP. I had a great time with great friend and guests. Cruise was too short. Enjoy! HH SonnyFl

Sweet finds! I'll do anything to get to the warm & sunny beaches right now. Even though in southern LA, it's cold here.

Looks inviting. Nice score with the rings, were you using a detector or just fanning the bottom?

I use an Excal 1000. You can't use a scoop on deadreef hunting. Just have to hold a breath a little longer.

Way to go Sonny :icon_thumleft: Nice GOLD!!! You said "You can't use a scoop on deadreef hunting". Is it just that you can't dig because of the reef and very little sand or there is some law against it?

Mike! It's hardpan botton and or rocks with a layer of sand covering it. No laws against it. Scoops are useless with these conditions. Thanks for asking.
