Nate and I went out the other night to one of our old spots. We have tore up that place over and over again. The tide was fairly low so we decided to hit up the deeper spots to see what was left over. I found my first gold 14K necklace. It was defiantly a jewelery night as I found a lot of junker toe rings and other things. I found 1,166 yen ($15). As always thanks for taking a look and good luck with your MDing.

I finally broke down and bought a scale. The necklace is 12 Grams.

I used to use the Ace350 it was my first machine and I would only hit dry sand, then I met Nate and he told me to get in the water. I bought a used Tesoro Sand Shark. It has defiantly been some work but also been a very good 6 months too. I will post soon my 6 months totals as I am leaving soon so won't be a year total :'(

Thanks this seems to answer my questions regarding the sand shark I recently bought.
It is rare to see a machine that can actually pull those gold chains from the sand...
If your not finding them, I believe, then it's because your machine will not pick them up...
in a fashion that allowes you to get them....
So the Sand shark will go off on these....
Good... Very good...

It sounded like I hit a wire or some kind of tent pole is what I normally dig up, so I almost left it just wanted to dig it anyways. The machine for me works great on anything.
