    gold chain?

    i found this a couple of months ago. i was waiting to get a gold test kit for xmas but only got cloths. 62 years old and i still treat christmas like a kid. (a big fat kid)
    anyway i saw a post here about a number on the hasp. this has one also.
    can someone help me as to what it means? italy 925

    all i saw was the color. i thought for sure i hit the big one! maybe next time.

    Gold or not thats a darn nice find. I always take a little Bar Keepers friend and a rag to those with color and no marking..... if its silver or plated over say copper its comes off quickly and if its just silver you can tell. Also on earring studs.... look very carefully on the post they do mark them occasionally.
