    13.7 Degree's 3.5 hrs hunt 1st silver coin 2012

Hit the beach at 8:30am for a 10am low it was cool? first beach was badly sanded in from the West wind over night. Move North picked up 23 coins mostly zinks and a 1941 Mercury and a junk toe ring.

    Well done!

Pretty cold for the beach right now, but at least you haven't got much competition.

"It's too cold, stay in bed" vs "but there is treasure to be had" - your more adventurous half obviously won, congrats on finds....

I had waders on but I had a leak the day before and did not want to find out if it was completly water proof at 13 degree's. Could have ended the hunt fast!

    way to get out!

I left for work today and thought it felt pretty warm. Turns out it was only 14 degrees. Guess even that temp felt good compared to the -9 it was yesterday morning.
