I'm back baby!!!

I made my yearly trip back to the US over the Christmas holidays and didn't make it back to Okinawa until Jan 3rd. What with the jet lag, hunny do's and getting things done, I haven't had a night out to detect until last night.

Rob (aka 'Soup') called and wanted to get out, so I agreed. I needed to get wet to maybe stoke the fire a little anyway. Those 3 weeks off really got me lazy

Hit a local beach that's done well for me in the past. The wind was blowing a tad and the water temp was cold enough for a wetsuit... but alas, I only have swim trunks. Lucky for me I carry my own insulation

Managed to hunt for about 2 hours before I called it quits. I guess my heart still wasn't in it 100%, plus I was getting a little cold anyway.

So here's the take for the night...

Maybe later this week will produce some better finds. My buddy Jason should be flying in tonight from his vacation, so the gang will be back in action soon. Best of luck to everyone and I hope your finds are more impressive than mine.

It's my goal to add to the PM money pot this year, and also add another $1,500 to the vacation fund. If I put my heart into it, I'm sure I'll surpass my goal. Besides, this is my last year here on island. I told the boss I wasn't staying past this next Dec, and he turned around and offered me a job in England. UGH... I'm getting tired of these overseas gigs, however, the prospects of detecting on the English countrysides and digging all those hammered gold and silver coins has me pumped.

It says 750 on it but it is so small, it fit my wife's pinky finger perfectly (she is trying to keep it lol). I will post when I get home tonight.
