I like this coin...was surprised , but delighted to find this one .

The silver jewelry appears to be quite old, but cleaned up pretty well.

Rings were found in wet sand slope.

Canadian coin found in low tide "muddy flats" ...deep/10" with GT.

Here's pics

thanks for looking at my finds

Lorraine

Hi Lorrain, fun digging $2 coins is it not? Your silver finds cleaned up beautifully as per usual - I love how the saltwater pits the silver surface. Will you please PM me for a link or info on your process - makes your finds look smashing .Over here Lorrain - I've heard of some experienced crew getting $100 plus days in the city parks in $1 and $2 dollar coins. Best day I've had in the water was over $30. I'm waiting eagerly for a $5 coin then we'd be cooking.

I think $5 coins would bring out more detector..... wouldnt it be great if we got rid of some of the paper money?

I'd sure like to see coins instead of paper money.

That's whats nice about hunting in Japan, all the coins. Their smallest money denomination is a 1,000 yen (a little more than $10US). Everything under a $10 note are coins. It adds up quick. Friday I dug 78 coins for a total of $127us in a little under 3 hours.
