I am new to TreasureNet and MDing.

I went to Coin Beach this weekend and I only got one hit, the attached pics. I got a Silver reading from it. It was encrusted with rust. As I was looking at it, it slipped from my hands and crashed onto the cement floor and some of the rust came off. I have attached pics of the after.

It looks like a big washer, and it is heavy, even after some of the rust came off.If anyone can help me identify it, I would appreciate it!

Washers... even small ones can give a sweet tone.... kind of like bottle caps. That one looks like its brass.

Thanks everyone. I thought it looked like a washer also. I guess I'll try cleaning it and seeing if there are any markings under the rust.

Thanks again.

Mystery finds are all part of the fun!!!!! If it does turn out to be a washer, which it most likely is, congrats on finding the biggest washer I've ever seen!!!!
