Fisher CZ-21 or Minelab Excal II
Can not seem to make my mind up. I have read many good things about both detectors and bad things also about both. I will be detecting in the saltwater beaches of Florida from Destin to Panama City Beach. Which would do the best job for where I am at
?

Both are excellent machines so you can't go wrong with either of them. Maybe you can find someone local who has both of these machines who will meet up with you and let you play with them a bit before you buy. Just don't get in a rush and don't buy until you're sure.

What bigscoop said
I usually recommend people to find a dealer that has both and will let you try as long as you are serious and plan on getting one or the other from them
or find guys that wont mind letting you try theirs

I have both and like the CZ a little more. But it is a close call.
