Went to a small old beach on a pond got a few things was hoping for more targets but maybe on the return trip,, 4 mercs and a silver quarter, pad lock( the water must be acidic it ate the steel on the lock),some religious medals, a canteen i think from ww2 era due to plastic cap, and a couple of wheats, and a cuff button cover the rest of it fell apart when i took it out of my pouch i thought a saw a waterbury bench mark but the eagle has some blue on it. thanks for looking

It's great when you can find a small place like that to hunt.
Be sure to hit the grass above the beach area, bound to more goodies up there.

That does look like an older GI canteen with Bakelite (?) cap. That's a nice, diverse haul. You have to feel good.

How much does a Park Ranger detect? Out in Myles Standish? Could be reason you were "booted" 3 times?
