Excal & WOT....both of these targets were just small "tics"......the ring is very thin and it was about 8 - 10 inches down. The signal on the chain actually kept cutting in and out (breaking up) but without a null and it was also about 8 - 10 inches down. I run my threshold just barely enough so I can hear it, otherwise these tiny "tics" are hard, if not impossible to hear, especially in the surf. I run my sensitivity about half, or just low enough to reduce the excess chatter.
I just checked and the ring is a size 7 1/2 and it's only 1.8 grams......so it is, "very thin"....which is why I was only getting a "tic".
