:hello2:Hi ,

Had an interesting 3 hours in the rocks this morning. Found some strange objects.

I didn't realize that I had found silver until I saw the heavily tarnished ( Looked like a piece of coal) object in the washing machine??? and decided to investigate the "piece of junk".

Electrolysis solved the mystery; it was a piece of a silver ring!

You see, I have 6 pockets in my camo wear and I put my finds in any pocket that is convenient at the time of recovery...problem is that I sometimes forget about them...like today.

Kept hearing a "clunk , clankety clunk, clankety clunk" in the machine.???

Here's the story in pics

thanks for looking

Lorraine

Now see what happens when you go back to the rocky beach, Lorraine? You find precious metals and get your mojo back.

I often wondered how to clean my silver finds...now I know....in the Kenmore!

Send rock to Stephen King, ASAP! It will be the star of his new book. LOL

Neat finds and great pix as usual.

You never know whats in those concretions. I found 4 or 5 of them one day and layed them on my wifes beach towel when I took a break. I forgot about them until I was at home. I asked my wife where she put them and she said, the garbage can at the beach. She asked why I would want them ugly rocks.

I found a rock like that today...thought I'd saved it, but now can not find it.
I even went through the garbage bag (yuk) but could only find the bottle caps.
Now I KNOW that was silver! Rats. :BangHead:
