where ever the people are
I do better in the water on the ocean side
bayside wait for low tide and hit the wet
if you are with family and got the time
It is best to go at high tide and watch where people go
that way you get an idea where to hunt as the tide goes out and
that way you can see just how much of a beach is dry at high and
becomes wet sand at low - then you can see just how far
people get out at low
there may be a few of my stories that may help you here
but half way down this page
THE BEACH:WHERE SHOULD I GO
may help a little

if you have the time read thru alot of this forum. it gives tons of info.

plus I am going today on a 8 (maybe 9 :) ) day trip to the beach. I will swim and watch the people line in the water, watch the high tide, watch the people line up the blankets and umbrellas and when crowd thins out I will be along those lines. Mainly going to hunt the water. almost waist deep water and people put their hands down at their sides and rings slip off....I sure am hoping alot slip off when I hit the beach this week :)

I got great info on troughs and more on this site. I am ready for the hunt.
