Did you even have to use your MD, or just dig and find? Seems your MD would have been going nuts...

The battery on the Excalibur lasts longer then I do. It is ready for that deep charge now.
It started making a strange feed back sound like a porpoise:
I thought at first, that some one left there depth sounder on in there boat.
I believe we left ours on and toasted one of my water machines in the past.
Make sure you turn them off before using your detector.
